It Was THIS Close
They were so close to winning. (Thank God that was not Billy Wagner)
Carlos was so close to winning game MVP. (I hate Michael Young)
What could've happened wouldn't happen.
Goatee or notee, I thought Carlos was amazing. Simply amazing. I wish Trevor Hoffman didn't give up that triple. They were SO CLOSE.
I hate this. Two nights in a row, and nothing good happened. What's next? 16 games behind the Braves in the East?
Well, no. Carlos said they've got to keep playing hard (or something like that), and they will. Since the AL won, there will be 2 games (Dad said) at home. If the Mets are going to the World Series, then that'll be a good thing if they're going to sweep whoever they're playing at Shea. See how smart I am?
Let's make sure they keep winning so we can be all GO METS GO METS-ie. Ok bye bye Mister.
