Life's A...You Know...

It was Sunday. The day we were going down to LBI to visit some of my cousins for the day that would still be there for another week. It was a lot of fun. I think if influenced me to start carrying around my phone...after ignoring it for 13 months. I have used it before, just not as much as Sami or Tyler or Kyle (Sami's brother) use it. If I had Mobile ESPN, then I'd bring it everywhere.

Tyler was driving us down! Tee hee. We got there in two hours and four minutes. We could've gotten there in two hours exactly if the cars on the island itself weren't so slow, and if that police car wasn't in front of us.

First, we went to the beach. Joseph, Tyler, Kyle, Sami and I were playing Beach Baseball or whatever it was called. Kinda hard, if you ask me, thanks to the sand.

The water was freezing. I was losing the blood in my feet. =(

Sami and I wanted to go shopping in Bay Village really badly. I HAD to see the cap store she told me about. Mom wouldn't let us go unless we found 20 shells with holes at the top that were white. Impossible, I say. IMPOSSIBLE! We still got to go. =)

Mom went to find a parking spot while Sami took me to the hat store. Mom gave me $20, and I already put $15 in my pocket before we left our house. The hats were so expensive. I completely gave up.

When we found Mom, we were deciding on a place for lunch. Aunt Amy then called her with Tyler and Kyle next to her, and she was right in front of Mom, so Mom said "Look behind you." Sooooo funny. We went to eat at a place with AWESOME fries, but I wasn't that hungry.

Sami, Tyler, Kyle, and I went to the Candy Store. I got Big League Chew, Juicy Fruit, and NON PAREILS!! or however it's spelled. I love those. =)

The four of us went to the arcade at Fantasy Island. Soooo much fun. I only used $2 on Skeeball, got 16 tickets, and that was it. I gave my tickets to Tyler. He gave his tickets to Sami and Kyle.

Tyler was dying for fudge from the Fudge Store. I wanted to get baseball cards from the nearby kiosk, but we had to wait for him. Kyle (I think) called Aunt Amy to see where they were. What didn't suprise me is that Uncle Steven, Aunt Amy, Dad and Mom walked to Fantasy Island to see if we were there. And THEY made us use cells.

I got two packs of cards. Some were good, some were unknown to me. No Carlos. >=( Poop.

After that I got ice cream...whoop dee dingle doo.

We got back to the beach house in time for dinner. Not that amusing, I must say. Just boring.

We left around 7. It was a fun-filled day. I just really wish that Sami could come to Arizona with us.

This is where the drama began:

I thought I saw fireworks when we got around to Central Jersey, but Mom said it was lightning. I was confused. How could lightning be so fast?

Then it hit me. Light travels fast.

Rain started falling really hard. The lightning was so severe and so fast. Then, you know what was banging on the glass and roof of the car?

Hail. Pure hail.

I thought it was the end. Tyler was my savior of the moment. He cuddled with me and Carlos (my teddy bear. I know, I'm such a kid). I guess that's what big brothers are for.

We stopped at a rest stop for about a half hour. I took ALL OF MY STUFF with me. I was glad I had my Mets bag. =) I carried that around all day.

The rain passed and we went back on the road. Tyler asked to put on the game, and they were just starting, too! Good thing they got 4 runs. Hah. "Good thing." I was asleep when A-Rod hit that grand slam.

Oh well, now the Mets are .500 against the Yankees this season. Same with the Yankees against the Mets.

And Carlos, thanks for hitting your 23rd and 24th homeruns. NOW SHAVE! =)

Bye bye Mister.
